The Way to Whiter Teeth

The Way To Whiter Teeth

What have you done to have pearly white teeth? Well, all we do is use branded toothpaste and brush our teeth twice daily. But doing just that isn’t enough to have whiter, brighter and shinier teeth. Consumers are not fully satisfied with the kind of regular toothpastes and gels available in the market today. Something more is needed for that glowing smile.

So then what’s the best way to whiter teeth? It’s definitely teeth whitening or bleaching. Teeth whitening are basically the process that can lighten as well as remove stains from your teeth. The process helps in bleaching the dentin and the enamel, the key tooth mass, thus brightening your discolored teeth.

Teeth whitening are carried out by professionals and should not be tried otherwise. The process is very effective and that’s the simple reason why dentists recommend teeth whitening to get fabulous results. But before initiating the procedure, several steps need to be carried out to understand whether you are fit for the entire teeth whitening process or not. After determining this aspect, the dentist will give you a brief about the different kinds of teeth whitening products available and the one that would be the best for you. This will be decided by the dentist.

Though teeth whitening aren’t a permanent procedure, but it lasts for a considerable period of time. Also the result of the procedure is likely to depend on the condition of your teeth. Some people might note miraculous difference while others might not be really satisfied with the kind of effect generated.

However, before carrying out the final procedure of teeth whitening or bleaching, the dentist cleans the teeth, removes the cavities and checks for healthy gums. If all these results are satisfactory enough, only then the process begins.

In the ancient times, these procedures weren’t available. So then how did our ancestors manage to keep such healthy and glittering teeth? Well, the credit goes to their dedicated self regiment which they unfailingly maintained all through their life. The ancestral methods of teeth whitening are noted below and you can try these now as well:

æ Apply sage leaf or mashed strawberries on the surface of the teeth to see the difference.

æ Gargle after your major meals to rinse off the food particles that have been left between your teeth.

æ Soak a piece of cotton in lemon juice and baking soda to wipe your teeth.

æ A mix of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda was probably the most overpriced procedure then.

Apart from all these age old methods you can simply maintain a proper dental hygiene regime for yourself. It would be less expensive than the other procedures and would also be less of a hassle. Also, all these processes can be practiced on a regular basis for proper hygiene and care; have a look:

Ø Brushing your teeth with proper toothpaste after every meal is mandatory. Brushing helps in preventing the development of plaque that causes stains. For healthy teeth and gums you need to brush more than twice daily.

Ø Throw away your worn out toothbrushes. You must choose a toothbrush with care; after all it is something that will prevent your tooth decay apart from the toothpaste that you use. The bristles must be smooth. Your toothbrush needs to be changed from time to time; at least after every 2 to 3 months.

Ø You can floss once daily to clean out the food strips that get stuck between your teeth.

Ø See a dentist at least once in a year to check whether your teeth and gum is doing fine or not. Get your teeth cleaned by the dentist as well.

Ø Coffee and red wine can lead to stain formation in your teeth. Avoid these drinks and beverages as much as possible. Smoking is also harmful for the gums and the teeth as ell.

Ø Strawberries are the best fruits for healthy and white teeth; have them in abundance. Eat fresh and raw vegetables for clean teeth.

Your diet also affects your teeth and so you must concentrate on what you eat. Dental care is a must for all!!

About your Goldendoodle’s teeth

When we purchase our new puppy, we usually do not think too much about their teeth.  However,  it is very important to learn about your Goldendoodle’s teeth so that you can promote good, over all  health for your doodle.

Goldendoodle puppies are born without teeth, just like newborn babies.  It takes time for their teeth to appear and grow.  Your Goldendoodle’s new teeth begin to make their appearance when they are approx. 2 weeks of age.  They are very tiny, but they begin to surface out of the gum area.  Because their teeth are so little,  we mix up special food for them to learn now to eat.  The food that we prepare them is made up of Puppy Pedigree chicken and beef canned food, Gerber’s rice cereal and goat’s milk.  We usually switch the Gerber’s baby food around so that they get use to the taste of pureed fruits and vegetables, of which they love.  When your Goldendoodle has all of his or her teeth showing,  they usually has approx. 28 teeth, known as baby teeth.  As your Goldendoodle grows, they will lose their baby teeth as their adult teeth come in.  Very much like your own.

Your Goldendoodle’s teeth are located  both in the lower and the upper inside area of his or her mouth.  Puppies love to chew as they get older because they are “teething”.  They go through similar stages as a human toddler, trying to sooth the pain in their gums by chewing on things.   Your Goldendoodle will go through the teething process for a couple of months, so it’s important to ensure you have plenty of toys for your doodle puppy to chew on and play with.  This also helps your Goldendoodle learn that he or she should only chew on the toys you give to them and not your household furniture, shoes or socks.  During the teething stages,  this can be very painful for your doodle pup.  When puppies are teething,  they will usually test out different objects to see which one helps relieve the discomfort, the most.

Between the ages of three and six months, your Goldendoodle puppy will lose what are called deciduous teeth.  By four months of age,  your Goldendoodle will probably begin to see his or her adult molars and canine teeth coming in.  Once in awhile, you may find one of your puppy’s teeth laying on the floor.  They are very small when they first begin to lose their teeth.

When our Goldendoodle puppies turn five to six weeks of age and if they are not very tiny doodle babies,  we begin adding Pedigree dry food to their meals so that they have something to crunch on as their baby teeth are growing.  Because their teeth are still small, we soak the dry puppy pedigree dry food into their soft food and add a little bit of warm water.  This helps them eat their dry food,  but at the same time, get relief while crunching.  By the time your Goldendoodle is seven months of age,  he or she will have all of their adult teeth and won’t have a problem chewing their dry food by itself.  Because Goldendoodles can get dry skin very similar to the purebred Golden Retriever,  it is important to still feed them soft canned food at least once or twice a week.  This adds moisture to their skin.  Good nutrition will help maintain healthy teeth in your Goldendoodle.  Make sure to read the ingredients in the food that you provide to your Goldendoodle.  Many dry dog foods do not provide enough nutrients for your growing Goldendoodle puppy.  That is why we add canned soft food and sometimes fruits and vegetables to the meals for our Goldendoodle puppies.

By the time your Goldendoodle is eight months of age,  he or she will probably have 42 teeth!  Some breeds have more and some breeds have less.  Generally the larger the dog,  the faster the teeth will appear.  Sometimes if a Goldendoodle is going to be very small,  it takes longer for their teeth to mature and to appear.  Breeders should check the “bite” of their Goldendoodle puppies by the time their puppies are six to eight weeks of age.  Problems develop if a Goldendoodle has a poor “bite”.  Having perfect teeth helps your Goldendoodle stay healthy.  When you purchase your Goldendoodle puppy,  it is important to ask your vet to inspect the teeth of your Goldendoodle and then as your Goldendoodle continues to develop and mature,  have your vet clean your Goldendoodle’s teeth at least once a year.  This promotes healthy teeth and helps maintain a healthy doodle!

As the old saying goes, “you only have one opportunity to make a first impression.” This is why you likely spend a while getting your hair, clothing, and other personal accoutrements in place before you go out on a first date or meet a new business contact for the first time. However, if you haven’t yet looked into whitening your teeth, you may be missing out on a very important part of your physical appearance. Most people, without the benefit of teeth whitening, have somewhat yellow or discolored teeth. This is a natural function of eating, drinking, and just getting older. But, just because it is very common, doesn’t mean it is socially acceptable. When you make a first impression, you want to let the person you are meeting know that you are attractive and that you take good care of yourself. This is why it is so important to make sure your teeth look their best.

Having good looking teeth is a function of making sure that they are healthy and that their cosmetic appearance is also good. Having healthy teeth requires good preventative care and frequent visits to a dentist for cleanings and other work. Cosmetic teeth care is a bit different. Making sure your teeth are healthy will help them look better, but you may need to do more. While orthodontic work, veneers, and other work are important parts of having attractive teeth, you should not overlook the importance of keeping your teeth bright and white. Nothing makes a smile more pleasant than white, gleaming teeth and there is no easier way to get white teeth than by using an at home teeth whitening product.

As more people realize the importance of keeping teeth young looking and bright, more people are turning to at home whitening products. These are the perfect way to get the right look for your teeth without making a large financial commitment to a cosmetic dentist. In fact, at home bleaching products are so effective and so inexpensive that the number of people using these products has far surpassed the number of people who choose to go to a professional for their whitening job.

One of the reasons that so many people are now turning to at home teeth whiteners is that they actually work just as well as the more expensive options. This is especially true for the WhiteningNow’s Bright Teeth System. Unlike less potent home whiteners, the Bright Teeth system is designed to provide professional level quality at a bargain price. What makes the system so effective is that it uses three separate components. The WhiteningNow system includes a high strength carbamide peroxide solution, a laser light, and an enamel strengthening gel. The carbamide peroxide bleaches the teeth, the laser light helps the whitening gel work better, and the enamel strengthening gel rebuilds the enamel after the bleaching process. Similar to professional kits, this system has received some of the highest reviews out of all home whitening products.

There is a free trial offer for the Bright Teeth system, which makes it a good choice if you are planning on trying the home whiteners. Because home whiteners are safe and can be extremely effective, you really don’t have anything to lose by trying them except for the discoloration of your teeth!

5 top tips on keeping your teeth healthy

Everyone knows the importance of maintaining good dental hygiene but sadly, it is something that many of us overlook. And it is does not have to be difficult, pricey or time-consuming to look after your teeth, not only will having a healthy mouth make you feel good, but you’ll also look good, as your teeth will be white, healthy looking and attractive, but your overall health will be improved as problems with your teeth can spread to other parts of the body such as vital organs such as the heart which is why you cannot afford to neglect your teeth. Here are 5 top tips on keeping your teeth healthy:

Visit your dentist every 6 months without fail

Nobody really likes going to the dentist. Even if you aren’t experiencing any pain and everything seems to be fine, you could still be suffering from small cavities, gum problems or worse. And by the time you get pain it means that it is too late and that treatment will be needed. By regular trips to the dentist it means your need for any drastic treatment is reduced because the problems will be spotted before they get to that stage. Plus your dentist will be able to advise you if your oral hygiene is lacking so can sort out a plan of action with you to make sure serious problems don’t develop.

Brush your teeth at least twice a day

By skimping on brushing your teeth you will at the least have bad breath but also bacteria and decay will build up on your teeth and can lead to cavities and you needing fillings. If possible you should try and brush your teeth between meals, if this isn’t possible, rinsing with water or eating a sugar free chewing gum can help by encouraging saliva production to wash away and neutralise the acid build up. If plaque is left on teeth this can lead to gingivitis (inflammation of the gums) the good news is it is completely reversible as once the plaque is removed the gums can then recover.

Remember to Floss!

Unfortunately toothbrushes do not always remove every particle of food and plaque build up from in between teeth which is why it is important to floss twice a day. Correct technique is essential because improper use can cause bleeding gums so talk to your dentist or hygienist. Having a proper professional clean by a dentist will also remove any residue that has built up over time.

Limit the amount of artificial sugar in your diet

Many foods today contain sugar, even naturally occurring sugar so it is somewhat hard to cut out of our diets completely but it is the artificial ones we need to worry about. Everything in moderation is acceptable but it is a good idea to avoid sugary foods and drinks between meals to give your teeth a chance to be remineralised by the saliva. Try to avoid drinking fizzy drinks and citrus fruit juices between meals as these will encourage tooth erosion and decay.

Cut down on your drinking and stop smoking

Alcohol and Tobacco are one of teeth’s worst enemies. Alcohol dramatically increases your risk of tooth decay as many alcoholic drinks and mixers contain a lot of sugar. Smoking not only leaves teeth yellow but you are at an increased risk of developing mouth cancer, gum disease and worst case scenario, tooth loss. Limiting both of these especially Tobacco not only will promote healthy teeth and gums but also a healthy body.

It’s funny that teeth get so over-looked, as far as dating articles usually go. They focus everywhere- make-up, skin, hair- where’s the teeth? Men often don’t consider the little things that attract women, which can’t be helped. Cute ears, or nice hands- or nice, white teeth. Think about it: on a date, you look at the lips, you imagine the kiss, and your date smiles- gasp! Their teeth are yellow, brown or even greyish…would you want to kiss that mouth? Luckily, there are options- with varying costs- that you can do to whiten your teeth and brighten your dating chances.

* Whitening Toothpaste: Yes, it actually does work on a small-scale. It bleaches the outside of your teeth, and takes away any build-up that’s dulling your smile. Whitening toothpaste won’t completely revamp your coffee-stained teeth to beaming white, but it will help modify their appearance if you’re on a budget.* Tooth-Bleaching Do-It-Yourself Kits: They’ve been the butt of many jokes in films and t.v., but they work much better, with more success than toothpastes. To whiten your teeth, you put gel in a mouthguard and either wear it overnight or wear it 5-10 minutes every morning. It depends on the product, but the process averages about 2 weeks. The gel is a bleach, which means you could have side-effects: sore gums or sensitive teeth. They also don’t last, so it’s a monthly expense if you want to keep your teeth white.* ‘Chairside’ Bleaching: Your dentist can also whiten your teeth, with something they call ‘chairside’ bleaching. It is just that- you go into the office, he puts specialized gel in a mouthguard and you sit in the chair for 30 minutes to an hour. It usually takes one visit, but it could take up to two.

* Problematic Tooth Coloration: There are some of us who have had a terrible time with our teeth, and the brown or grey discoloration can’t be bleached. Or maybe we’ve had some dental work that will show up- glaringly- if we do try to whiten our teeth. There are several options (check with your dentist): either porcelain veneers or dental bonding. Unfortunately, they’re also the most expensive.

The reason we find white teeth so wow, is that we subconsciously read white teeth as healthy teeth. If you’ve been slacking with brushing, or you haven’t paid much attention- and you want to date- you’d better start a regime. For romance, white is more, in this case.

While modern day teeth whitening products assure you a set of pearly white and healthy teeth in no time, also available are wonderworking natural teeth whitening methods that help you restore white teeth at the comfort of home.

Teeth are an over-looked area of appearance that is just as important as beautiful skin. Are your teeth ready to date?

Many people are depressed due to their unhealthy teeth. People get really frustrated with staining, discolouration, plague, and so many other teeth issues. There are many products in the market which claims to enhance the teeth quality but fails to do so. Time has come to fulfil your long awaited dream of getting healthy sparkling teeth. Teeth whitener and many others products has flourished in the market to offer endless choice to make your teeth healthy and glitter.

People can go to any extent to get the confident look through sparkling teeth. Teeth whitening system has really improved a lot leaving no grounds at all to make you embarrass. We all want to have very good teeth but do we ever practice those things which prevent you from getting healthy teeth? The prominent reasons for discolouration, yellowish and stained teeth are-

1 Smoking and chewing tobacco2 Drinking beverages like tea, coffee etc3 Eating unhealthy foods4 Too much of fluoride5 Consuming too much chocolates6 Old fillings.

There are numerous teeth whitener products which are for restoring the lost shining from your teeth. These are mostly gels and other products which can be easily availed in any good store and medical shops. These are not complicated products and can be easily used in daily basis. These items are-

1 Whitening Toothpastes: This toothpaste will help to remove all surface stains due to presence of mild abrasives. Some whitening tooth-paste also contains chemical agents that provide additional stain removal effectiveness.

2 Strips and Gels: Whitening gels peroxide-based gels applied with a small brush directly to the surface of your teeth. It’s very effective as positive result can be seen in very short time.

3 Tray Based Teeth Whitening Kits: This kit comes in a mouth guard-like tray with a gel whitening solution containing peroxide-bleaching agent. When this substance is applied on the teeth with the help of a mouth tray it breaks down into oxygen and seeps down into the teeth enamel. This gel can be used by anyone who has undergone Cosmetic Dentistry as it does not affect fillings, crowns, bonding. The tray has to be worn for a period of time, which actually depends on the degree of stains present on your teeth normally from a couple hours a day to every day during the night for about a few weeks.

Not all are fortunate to avail the magic effect of teeth whitener. People with gum disease or worn enamel are usually discouraged from undergoing a tooth whitening procedure. Cavities need to be treated first because the teeth whitening systems penetrate into any existing decay and the inner areas of the tooth, and this can cause sensitivity. Teeth whitening systems will also not work on exposed teeth roots as roots do not have an enamel layer.
